Thumbs up Hello!

Well, after owning and loving her '99 C5, my dear wife finally couldn't wait anymore, especially after a brief spin in the 2015 C7! So, two weeks ago we ordered a new Stingray Coupe, Arctic White (like her present Vette)' with the automatic transmission and Museum Delivery. She is excited! (well who wouldn't be?). I found this excellent forum a couple of nights ago and decided to join up and learn some things. Looking forward to learning a lot more. Si CE this will be her car, for the most part I will occupy the passenger seat! Not complaining, though!

Nice! Sounds like you two will have many happy miles! And who wouldn't with a forthcoming beautiful white C7...

Welcome! You will love the Stingray! And while this is a smaller forum, the members are far more open minded and helpful here, compared to some other forums. Feel free to ask any questions, no matter how trivial they may seem. The members here may not always know the answer but will genuinely try to help.

Update

To make a long story short, we chose the wrong dealer: 7 weeks after placing the order the dealer had no allocation and could tell us when he might get one. We had hoped to be able to take delivery at the NCM before May (due to hard commitments for travel) & the dealer could not assure a delivery before then. We decided that we would rather have a new 2016 than a late-model 2015, and contacted 4 Chevy dealers around the country, including Becky @ Rodgers. She was the 4th and within a few minutes on the phone, it was clear that she was the one who we wanted to work with. So, we sent her an initial deposit for a 2016 C7 and feel much better about our decision. Am still checkin the forum daily and learning a lot. Wish I had found it before we ordered the '15!
