Seen 6th Gen in person... meh

So here they are... probably a little worse to look at in person then in the pictures I have seen..
I won't ever own one and I have had every Gen but a 3rd gen.. they look like a 5th gen meets up with a odd frumpy spacecraft..and has this.. thank goodness they are supposed to be a blast to drive.

Agreed but I never planned on owning one; even before I saw the first picture.

looks great
not everything is about how it looks..if it's a way better car to drive then surely that's the main reason to own one..
looks like ours tbh..little more refined . a normal person would see no difference.

Last night I convinced my wife that instead of buying a 50th ZL1 vert (if that even happens), a better value would be to add around 125 whp to this one.

Refined? Big ugly plastic mouth. Cheap looking plastic hood scoops. Don't like the headlights. The sidemarkers have got to go. Boon for Oracle ghosted sidemarkers. What happened to the rear fenders? Did they reduce the width or tire size? I bet they're going to call it, "leaner" or "sleeker" or something stupid like that. Don't like the tail lights either. It's like they didn't want them to be a similar shape as the new Corvette. Yet the interior copies the Vette.

Glad you don't like it. That will be one less on the road. Awesome looking car! Can't wait to own one in a few years. Waiting for the ZL1 or whatever they will call the hipo model.

5% more HP, lighter, and lower dash will make it excellent to drive on tracks.
Could have used the lower dash at the NCM Track at Camarofest, driving down in to the "sink hole" ... completely lost sight of the road with gen5. Heard the stock gen6 SS will perform better than current 1LE. The Interior overall changes, especially console/shifter area Chevy did a good job on.
Exterior thinking very similar to gen5 with some fighter jet styling cues added- agree, in person it is way different than looking at 2D photos (overall gen6 adds another styling choice now for Camaro buyers, it is not just a cloned 5th gen).

Silly question... "everyone knows when you are married, it is always the same sex." (Robin Williams)

Looks like a Toyota, performance is great too bad they have taken the road away from the retro look. At least we had a few good years 5th gen and 1st gen are where it's at the rest are flat liners in my book.

Not everything is about how it looks? Please tell that to the 1967-1969 iconic styling. Newer isn't always "better"

I think these will help you. Toyota makes nothing that even remotely resembles any Camaro ever built including this one.

I agree. I was kinda pissed when they launched the idea of the 16 after just purchasing my 15 but I agree with woodboss. It looks like a camry with all the shiny plastics. This made me feel better about my purchase...5th gen!!
