So the blue and the red were base models? The blue looked just as equipped as the Z51. What gave it away? Brakes? Wheels? Is the interior different on the Z51 models? I could see the red one was missing a spoiler, smaller wheels, and the corvette flags appeared to lack color (similar to SS camaros lacking the RS package). I am relieved to see the base models still come equipped with the vents, and CF roof panels. Depending on the price increase of the Z51, I may find myself with a modified base model. :(

I believe the spoiler is standard on all models. These were test mules, that have probably been driven under camo before the reveal.

I think the base models (1LT) will come with body-colored CF roof panels... that's how it's listed in the Standard equipment list from 1LT through 3LT. Any other variants will be optional, includes visible CF or clear panel.

Exposed Carbon Fiber really doesn't appeal to me, I'll take a body color, although that transparent one certainly does. Any previous Corvette owners have any pictures inside the car? Is it similar to the Mustang's Glass Roof, kind of like an entire sunroof, that's non-motorized of course. But removable nonetheless.

Aren't they all Base models? Isn't the Z51 just a option on it and not a seperate model. Besides Ed Welburn dosen't like the term Base model he wants them to be called Stingrays.

Im with you on the CF roof. I plan on getting the transparent one for my stingray.

The Z51 is still not a separate model, right? As of now all there is is the Stingray in various trims and all have the Z51 option available I think.

I think the Z06 and ZR1 corvettes will be separate models and not be called Stingray
