2011 convertible versus 2010 with sunroof
I’d like your thoughts on this question
Is a 2011 Camaro 2SSRS convertible with 16,000 miles worth $5000 more than a 2010 2 SSRS With the same amount of miles and sunroof |

Nope. I wouldn’t buy a convertible at all though so I know that’s my opinion. The UV here in the southwest eats the rag tops alive

Coupe for the win!! I like having a roof over my head. Plus like stated, the verts of that year had top issues.

Get both.
I'd start with a 2013 and up if you were wanting a convertible. Of course, they come with their own set of problems. So it MIGHT be worth $5K more depending on condition, but I doubt it, but the 2011 convertible top issues would be too great of a risk IMO.

I own a coupe and a convertible. I like my vert, but in all honesty, I prefer hard tops these days. I've owned a multitude of verts over the years, from GTOs and Fiat Spyders to Mustang GTs and Camaros, and a number of others in between, but I like the lower maintenance and fewer moving parts of the coupes now. I have the vert I have now mainly because it is kind of a special car for a number of other reasons, in the 5th gen scheme of things - almost a one-off.
So, if it were me, I'd take the coupe with the sunroof. And as always, YMMV!

I ordered my '10 SS with the sunroof. I'm glad I did for the light it lets into the passenger compartment.
But it just makes too much noise to open. In 14 years I bet I haven't opened it half a dozen times.
