I wouldn't say you are being jerked around. GM will go in and
look at orders that are at 1100 status. My guess is that they
are looking to see what's being ordered or that the configuration
is buildable. In either case, the 2050 or 2051 are for their use
and has nothing to do with production. The dealer hasn't
placed the order against allocation yet. I don't know if they
haven't had it available to them, or if your order had constraints
and they moved on to the next one, or..............? They are
not lying to you when they gave you that status, it just doesn't
relate to a build status.

Stinkpaw, I ordered mine middle of November!!!!! Still 1100!! I see cars almost identical to what I ordered showing up for sale at dealers around the US. Chevy needs to get their act together if u ask me. I can't even spend $70,000 on a car.
No wonder they needed a bailout, gonna cancel my order and look more seriously at other cars. Really wanted my Vette but the experience thus far has made me VERY hesitant. My wife has a much cheaper nice foreign car and is treated like a princess. Hmmmmmm....
