Removing cats from my v6
I'm sure it's been asked but can anyone give some info on some of the benefits/ drawback by doing this. I live in FL so emissions aren't the issue. Will I need a tune and how much should everything cost? Thanks for the help

You will need a tune to get rid of the CEL. Some just ride with the light. Other than that your exhaust will smell rich kinda like a lawn mower.
Don't know if I would do it without going LT's to get the most out of it. Not sure what your full plan is.

Ya I do plan on getting some LT's. Would an o2 simulator work?

Everything I have heard says no. Truthfully you would want to get the tune anyway to get the most of your mods anyway. There are many who ran with cel for awhile. It doesn't hurt, just gets anoying. I assume you are going OBX since you are thinking cat delete. If not you should consider it for the price.

I know it's a good price but I can't spend the money just yet. I have family in bk that could prob just pick it up for me too. I'd love to get them though

Just by installing the OBX headers will eliminate the cats.
Here is a video of a take off.

Thanks and yeah it comes with test pipes and small resonators with places to attatch your O2 sensors.
Now your setup will probably sound different based on your exhaust. I also have a resonated xpipe which helps tame it a little to control rasp. Check out KMP's exhaust sticky in the bolt on section for ideas on exhaust sound.
