Top Speeds?
What are some of the top speeds out there?
I've hit 142mph but think there is a gov at 155. Anyone confirm? Watch video and let me know any tips. I know I need work. Thanks.

Cut my speed limiter off and hit 185 mph with my turbo car. Don't recommend though car sounds if it is ready to blow apart.

My son was driving, of course me in car, but took it to 135, and he said there was more, and according to specs it has a 155 mph and this is set with a governer.. and of course as mentioned the posted speed limit... I have enough tickets

Not too shabby! I am so looking forward to doing that with mine (in controlled conditions of course... nothing stupid)!
Slight off-topic: one of the related vids on there was of the Hennessy LS9 Camaro Dyno...  Imagine what that car could accomplish, speed-wise! If you haven't seen it, definitely go watch it... sound warning, btw.  -Bone |

I hit 138 still in 4th gear and then ran outa road, I had plenty left obviously.

Roughly 1000 miles on it and did 145mph running out of road. Stock 155 limit removed. Plently left in the car...

If you drive a BMW why are you on this sight? Any way, I know some one who took his up to 153 and decided that was fast enough and slowed back down in a hurry!!!! I don't think he will do that again but just wanted to see if he could!!!
