I was looking at getting the FIC 2200's. If I can get the ID2000's for around the same price I'll go with those though.

yeah well FIC sent me all the data over for the injectors. all u have to do is ask for it when u buy a set.. this made it so easy to tune and get it right.. for 400 dollars cheaper then ID'S you cant go wrong..

Everyone should Know that all they did was take the ID-Injector Data and provide it with they're injectors.

All though the data works there is NO WAY it is correct for another injector made by another company.

They have No Money invested in Characterizing the injectors since it was never done for They're injectors.

Just Sayin.

108 lb/hr fuel injector is suited for 1,300 HP engines

How many really need that sized injector and fail to see when the injector is so big for even 600 HP that the pulse width ON time is so small that the coil of injector has to be turned on/off like 300% more then smaller injector which induces heat to injector and fuel and reduces injector life

Let us know 1 year from now how much carbon buildup the cylinders and valves have.

ZR1 injectors 48 lb/hr and the new GM Camaro kit is more then enough for most and will have good driving manners and long term life

The high-volume fuel pump module that will be used on the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is available now from Chevrolet Performance, enabling tuners to use a crucial, factory-engineered component to help build their own high-performance Camaro.

Chevrolet Performance’s ZL1 fuel pump module is a direct replacement for the in-tank fuel pump/sender assembly of 2010 and later Camaro SS models.

It delivers significantly greater volume suitable for high-performance applications – including supercharged engines – eliminating the need for an aftermarket, out-of-tank fuel system to support very high horsepower levels.

The module is available under part number 19258436 and carries a suggested retail price of $420.

It can also be adapted to custom aftermarket fuel tanks, for use in high-performance hot rods using a late model-type, electronically controlled fuel injection system.

“The ZL1 is the ultimate production Camaro, and Chevrolet Performance is excited to offer its high-volume fuel pump as a performance part,” said Jim Campbell, GM U.S. vice president of Performance Vehicles and Motorsports.

The ZL1 fuel pump module incorporates a twin-pump design to meet the high-rpm fuel requirements of a supercharged engine.

It delivers approximately 250 liters per hour at 65 psi(450 kPa) and will support engines producing up to about 600 plus horsepower – although its performance range with custom and modified engines is determined by factors including the air/fuel ratio, compression ratio and others.

The ZL1 pump is pulse-width modulated, directed by a fuel pump controller, for more precise fuel delivery that eliminates the need for a conventional pressure regulator.

Components of the kit include the fuel pump/sender assembly, a fuel pump seal and instruction sheet. The factory fuel pump controller can be used with it on 2010 and later Camaros.

The ZL1 pump is listed on a couple of parts sites for around $250. An excellent deal. One question, is it factory set to pump at 65 psi vs an SS at 58 psi? Someone needs to buy one of these and test its limits...

I figure people will pulley down as soon as the ZL1 is delivered and then we'll know where the pump gets maxed out. If it can handle 620-630 then it'll go in mine. Can't beat the price.

As it states the fuel system controller commands pulse-width modulated to pump, so as engine load increases the controller ups the fuel rail pressure from 58 to 65 PSI
Better is ZR1 system as controller can up pressure as high as 87 PSI so 48 lb injector works well for non boost but flows much more as PWM is reduced and rail pressure is higher.
With ZR1 then we can via tuning command what the minimum and maximum fuel pressure is as we also can control at what RPM the boost level is

I wonder if a ZR1 control module along with a ZL1 pump is feasible? In other words, how adaptable is the ZR1 setup to a gen 5 camaro? I realize the pump probably isnt a plug n play?

What is your opinion of the max. hp supported by the ZL1 set up?

The FIC injectors work very well and tuning is not a problem with them. We've installed/tuned a ton of them throughout the years. Most common are 60-80lb injectors from them. We've tuned 100+lb injectors from them but they are is race cars.

All the data from my FIC injectors were straight off the ID;S web site . worked well for me. so i guess all the hard work ID is putting in is being robbed by FIC...
Just letting everyone know !
