I agree. Always keep the Malibu in line as a daily driver.

Very strong design. I actually like the current Malibu, but this effort was needed for Chevrolet to become more competitive. I've always felt that the Malibu was an equal for Camry and Accord; Perhaps this design will finally catapult Malibu into the top three sales slot.

Same here. Also hate the wording on the side of the Camaros. I removed mine and think the sides of cars look so much smoother with no side emblems or vents/ducts etc.. unless they are actually functional.

Probably about the same as it does in the current Malibu. Power is going down, but the car is lighter. It should still be a little quicker, but I doubt it will be that big of a difference.

A couple more snap shots. After looking at it for awhile, the ass end doesn't present as much as it appears in some pictures, this car photographs really weird.

Also, let's try to keep in mind, it's a mid size sedan. Design is important, but it's also loaded with all sorts of other creature comforts that midsize sedan buyers love.

It's a cross between an Impala [front end] and Hyundai Elentra [rear end]. The rear end is definitely improved over the prior model.

Not exciting IMO. Then again, it's not really supposed to be.

It does a good job at not being offensive or too aggressive with modern styling, which I think is a primary goal of this segment.

The model name spelled out on the door reminds me of the first gen Lumina.

I was thinking the ATS version is about 270HP isn't it?

I agree RE: the front end [but then I like the new Impala, which this is a knock off]. Regal's rear end, though similar, is better. All subjective anyway.

Each 2.0T deployment is tweaked/factory tuned slightly, mostly for fuel efficiency reasons. The prior Malibu 2.0T was damn quick, 5.9 sec 0-60.
