I was watching a recording of the Daytona Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race yesterday and couldn't find one GM car on the track. Stevenson Racing won the championship last year with a team of two Z28's but this year they have switched to Audi.

Does anybody know of any team in this series that intends to race the new Camaro or are we going to have to be content to watch the Mustangs run away with the title?

There are none this season, the Z28.R is not made anymore. A new car is coming for next season...

Race teams go where the factory support is and GM is no longer supporting the Z28.r. I assume this time next year it may be a different story, with the Z models and the 1LE.

That's great to see that they are still running the Z28 R in the Perelli World Challenge but it's too bad that nobody will be running them in the Continental Tire Sportscar Challenge. These are two different racing series.

Ok, I see what you mean. It was more to show that they were being represented in general. I thought that maybe they would let the ATS-V take over but I haven't found that either.
