Demand is down, but oil companies take advantage of any rumors or conflicts to make more profits at our expense.
Wish i had a volt. There is a really nice video on you tube, that might be to political to post, but it shows a guy that has gone 7000 miles with only 32 gallons of gas, that's bad a$$ You can find it by typing the words volt and newt, it's 5:33 long

I've slowed my highway driving speed down to 60 mph. I'm getting 31 mpg/hwy . If gas hits $5/gal, I'll have to do 45 on the shoulder of the road.

Maybe next year will be better ? The middle east does not respect us right now. They need a lesson again.

I am actually one of those V6rs that get 28~31 MPG (good driving habits) regardless of what others might say in here about V6s getting crappy mileage. This car gets twice the mileage per gallon compared to my Avalanche I used to have, I am very please at my decision of getting rid of that gas hog.
Ya I know someone is going to chime in on this thread with some silly saying such as~"Well Dude we all drive Camaros that put out high HP, what do you expect?, if you are concerned about saving gas you shouldn't have bought a Camaro in the first place" Well believe it or not I am one of many folks in here that want to save gas and get more for our hard earned money, I seriously figured in gas economy when I bought my Camaro, that's why I bought the V6.....and it is paying off as advertised. You want to play? You gotta pay!

Got a V6, one of the primary reasons why I might stick with it afterall. Might not be the fastest engine on the road but it still looks fantastic and 330 HP or so is nothing to be sad about.
