DISCLOSERS:

I would love it if this vehicle were as pristine as when it drove off the lot but it has some of the normal wear of a ten year old vehicle as well as a couple parking lot mishaps. This car could easily be your garage baby, but it was meant to drive. I am going to be as descriptive as possible because, let’s be honest, you need an excuse not to buy this vehicle:

• Imprint in the rear fender from backing into a fire hydrant. Has left an indent that is clearly visible when approaching the rear of the vehicle. Since it is purely cosmetic, I haven’t found the gut to shell out the money to fix it.
• Clipped the front fender on a curb and cracked the front right corner. It caused considerable damage, scraping off a large portion of paint and damaging the fender. I Have since bought a new fender off a donor vehicle but haven’t had the time to install it. Since the crack and scrape are on the bottom of the fender, I’ve just slapped some duct tape on it for the time being and it's held up fairly well. Thankfully, the part that is damaged does not affect driving characteristics and is mostly out of sight.
• Foliage in the engine burnt several pieces of the insulated lining and the firewall. I have made two long distance trips since and it does not affect engine performance but it would probably be high on the list of things to renew.
• Wear in the leather of the driver seat from use over the years. Requires periodic leather conditioning to keep it in good shape.
• Passenger side rear wheel was just barely rimmed while parallel parking. Having washed the car several times now it has started to blend in with the normal color of the wheel.
• Various nicks, bumps and dings from common highway debris. If you want my opinion, I’ve saved you the work of having to worry about keeping it in pristine condition so you can enjoy driving it and keeping it running well.

Alright, well that covers anything that I am sure you care to know. Next thing on the list is contacting me and setting up a time to come and see it in person. The car will sell itself, but if you have anything you want to ask in the meantime please feel free to shoot me a message. For serious inquiries, I have more photos and several videos available. And if you want to lookup the vehicle here’s the VIN: 2G1FT1EW6A9112290 and a good, free site is vincheck.info

P.S. Linked below is an article run by Super Chevy on my vehicle when it had its guts upgraded:

I will vouch for this awesome car! It used to be mine, I was the original owner and sold it to the OP. I on the other hand, WON'T spare you the pain of reading my gaudy story! I pre-ordered the car before production started in March 2009, hence the R6P. I was a long time and very active member here on Camaro5 for several years. I did almost all of the work you see on the car. At the time that I owned this car, I was the "5th Gen Specialist" at BMR Suspension, so a LOT of top-notch suspension parts were swapped out on this car, and it was all done RIGHT! I sold the car to the OP in early 2016, and still question to this day why I sold this car! I wish I never did! I was hoping to buy the car back from the OP, and he very graciously offered me first dibs on it. But as it turns out, I spent so much time and money on this car, it left a rather sore spot in my marriage (according to my Wife). So, unfortunately, in order to keep the peace at home, I have to pass on it this time. But whoever gets this car is going to be extremely lucky!!! Please let me know if there are any questions about the car....

P.S. That's Scott Settlemire's signature on the strut tower. Signed at the Sturgis Camaro Rally in 2013. Man, that was a good time!!!

You are correct of course, it’s definitely a 376! Just a misprint. As far as the 6-speed manual trans....it’s the absolute best theft deterrent available today!!! LOL!!! I sure wish my better half would change her mind...I’d LOVE to have this car back in my garage!

I’m guessing the car is still for sale? The OP is in the military, and hasn’t responded to any of my recent texts either. I’m thinking he’s probably deployed somewhere without internet at the moment. Keep trying....
