I agree, I will have to take it over some bumps later. I just removed them and when for a 3 mile drive... can’t really tell the difference. Still corners great and the ride is still smooth.

I agree the dealer is an idiot

My dealer knew to remove the spacers, but then threw them away instead of putting them in the car.

Took almost 5 months to get replacements because the dealer couldn't find a part number. I finally had to give them the part number which I found in a post on Camaro6. Then the dealer tried to charge me for the replacements. We finally got it all worked out. I just held my breath I didn't need a tow waiting on the replacement spacers.

Your dealer is definitely a bonehead. If they’ve sold ZL1s before they were on the 5th gens too.

If I were you I would ask the dealer for a few extra oil changes...that is the least they could do. IMHO that is completely unacceptable and really inept of the dealership.

If I can’t trust them to remove those spacers, I’m not trusting them to do the oil changes. Lol I change my own oil for peace of mind.

My dealer threw mine away too. Also the air deflectors. They ended up drop shipping me both parts. Clowns.

Looks to me like he took a stab at a possible lack of ability to search the forum and the fact you state you are clueless? You know, the common conception on internet forums that every single person that buys one of these cars is supposed to walk into their new purchase knowing EVERY SINGLE DETAIL about it and not to have to ask for help.

I'd ignore it and move on. Things happen, we are all human and pretty much every other response you've gotten has been very helpful. That's what most forums try to be is helpful.

I'm surprised that guy's response didn't include some of these

That said, have fun and drive your car!

I’ve been a member on this forum since 2010 and I know how to do a search. I searched the forum for an hour and said why not ask the question because i had other things to do rather than spend more time looking for something I couldn’t find.

I agree, Ive gotten great responses and this forum has been very helpful. I just don’t appreciate assholes like him throwing in his 2 cents to take a jab at me.

Mine were left in too. So now I don't go there for service. Friendly Chevrolet left them in. Classic Chevrolet took them out. Classic is right by my house. I could walk to it. Plus the service is excellent.
