Just thought I'd start a thread showcasing all the 5th Generation Camaro magazine ads I've run across in the past few years. When I find more in the future I will continue to add them. If anyone has seen or knows about other ones not shown here please let me know. Although there wasn't a specific Camaro Indy 500 Pace Car ad featured in the official 2009 & 2010 Indy 500 race programs, I am hoping there will be one for the 2011 race, considering the fact that the 2011 Camaro Pace Car celebrates not only the 100th anniversary of the Indy 500 but also Chevy! (UPDATE: See post #3 for a 2011 Indy Pace Car ad) I put them in the order that they appeared chronologically and it's interesting to note that the base price kept climbing during the extended 2010 model year. I've been collecting Camaro and Corvette magazine ads since I was a kid in the early 80's, so I can do this for the first 4 generations of the Camaro and the almost 60 years of Vettes as well, if anyone's interested. I wonder what magazines those came from...

But I do have to disagree that lust conquers all. It creates jealousy, hatred, and the eventual keying of your car :P

If that happened to your car that sucks!

They mainly came from Automotive mags such as Autoweek, Car & Driver, Motortrend, Automobile and Road & Track but a few came from non automotive mags that I can't remember. The "You Could Live Without It..." came from the Official Program for the 2010 Indy 500

Here are a few more that I have found recently. The first is a two-sided ad for the 2011 Camaro SS Indy Pace Car edition that is located in the 2011 Indy 500 Program. It is made from a heavier paper and it is even perforated at the edge for easy removal. The red 2011 Camaro Convertible ad came from the first page of the Summer issue of Motor Trend Classic.

Here are some from SLP. They are not full sized pages but were in the advertising sections at the back of car magazines. The first is from the June 2011 edition of Car & Driver and the second was from a few months earlier.

Just recenty found these Camaro ads. My dad cut out the ad with the silver convertible and gave it to me so I'm not sure what magazine it came from but the multi-page 2012 Camaro ad came from the July 25th issue of Autoweek. The cool thing about this one is that it features a photo of the ZL1. It's a red one and it's on the last double page. Enjoy!
