So I test drove an Elantra Sport

I really liked it a lot. Fully loaded with leather, navigation, etc etc. For 26k. I think they knocked it out of the park. The interior space is closer to a mid-size sedan than a compact. Comparing it to the Honda Civic, and I think it gives the Civic quite the run for its money.

Is your "a" button not working? Lol.

I'm really thinking about it though. Hyundai is giving lots of incentives at the moment too.

I had an Elantra for a rental last year.

Worst four days of my life.

Yep. Awful.

At least it wasn't a Focus though. Four rental Focuses later and I never want to see one ever again.

Huh, too bad, I was looking at Focus too.

This was the first turbo car I've driven, it seemed really peppy. I enjoyed driving it, but that clutch was feather light!

In 2007, I needed inexpensive transportation, so I bought a new Hyundai Accent SE. I owned it 5 years & it's by far the most trouble free vehicle I've owned.

had 2 of these, never cost me a dime beyond oil changes and air filters...
Always started in even -45C
One had the nose ran over by a transport trailer (he fell asleep at the wheel) and it took it like a champ.
Great cars, stupid cheap to buy and drive

The other I rolled into a deep ditch (don't ask). It was wrote off, but I climbed out the windshield scratch free (door was pined to the ground, but still opened and shut after it was right side up)

They're sister companies. Like Chevy, GMC, Caddy, Buick.

Has anyone looked at the recent incentives? They're offering up to $3,000 off. But not on the Sport model.
