It was parked while I was at eating dinner with my family at my inlaws and I come outside to leave and find a note on my windshield. I read it and just shook my head. I then looked at the car and heart sank.

That sucks. Atleast they left a note with hopefully insurance information.

Around Colorado, you wouldn't have gotten that.

That sucks and I'm sure ruined your evening. The good news it can be fixed and they were honest enough to leave (hopefully a legit) note.

Yes the note was legit. I just got a voicemail from her insurance company about 10 minutes ago and waiting on them to call me back again. If it was fake info I would have just knocked on the ladies door as it was obvious who hit me.

Had similar damage occur to my car 2-3 weeks after I bought it. Luckily I was actually in the car parked when It happened. Took a while to get fixed bc I didn't want my quarters cut, so it took longer to massage the metal and gills back to looking right. Good luck with the repairs.

Besides the hassle, appreciate the forthrightness of the note. There are good people out there still that own up to their mistakes.

I returned to my car with similar damage to the door and front 1/4. AND NO NOTE!!!
$3000 damage. The whole side of the car will
Need to be painted/blended--even onto the hood!! Door can be fixed. 1/4 panel will need to be new. People suck!
But hey, it's "just" a car.

That stinks. Yeah I am very appreciative of the note and even told her that about 10 times. She was so apologetic when I talked to her this morning. She kept asking me if I wanted to punch her lol. Of course I don't since she left a note haha. It will get all fixed up correctly and we will all move on.
This what my last Camaro looked like when it was hit while parked in front of my house.
Drunk lady hit it at 5 am coming home from the club. When I went outside after the boom she was in her car trying to start it to leave. Yes that is her tire and wheel sitting by my driver door. Needless to say she wasn't going anywhere but to jail.

I hope I never live where I have to park on a street. Glad my cars are locked away in a garage.

I have actually seen damage like that fixed by a paintless dent guy. If it was me I would have a great one of them work it over and then have it painted. I would not want my quarter cut if they could save it.
