I drive mine everyday. If I recall correctly. you had problems because of your BBK intake. I think the vendor even addressed your problems in a thread. I don't know why you always bring it up, because your other mods were responsible. They were incompatible with the VTC.... VTC even told you as much. Yet somehow, you always leave that out of your posts about the VTC.

This brings up an interesting concern. What sort of thing might be incompatible with a VTC? Pardon me if this has been hashed out already, but I'm uninitiated.

I'm not sure. I think it's mostly aftermarket throttle bodies. I know with Krisprz, it was his BBK 102mm throttle body. He also had problems because he hadn't connected the throttle sensor wiring properly (to the throttle body). The vendor bent over backwards to help him and even ended up responding publicly in a post. He always seems to forget those details. You can't expect Vitesse to test the product compatibility with every mod on the market.

Some people have had legit problems with the product causing CELs. Most haven't. From what I've seen, if you are one of the unlucky ones, you just remove the VTC and get a refund. No damage is done. 95% of people who install it never have any issues.

Ok. I have a vmax PTB on my wish list. Don't think I've seen any complaints about that one. I've got an LLT.

If I were you, I'd email VTC and ask if there are any issues using the vmax and VTC together. To be honest, I think that once you get the VTC, you won't want the vmax anymore. Throttle response with the VTC is insane.

Well, I've got a VTC on the way. Still want a CAI intake, though.

Can't wait to see your response once you install it. The install is pretty simple, but calibrating it is aggravating. I think it took me about a dozen attempts to get it properly calibrated. It's a pain in the rear. That could also be why some people have probs.

Good to know. I can handle that, as long as I know what to expect. Will definitely post my feedback once I get it installed.

Ok first off, I'm just saying my experience with the vtc. Did I say it was bad? No. Did I say not to get it? No. And go back and look at my thread I said I THOUGHT it was my throttle body. The vendor assumed that it's incompatible and maybe or maybe it isn't. He would not know unless he actually had my car with him to see. Vtc is an amazing product, but just not for me I guess. And also you know what else I left out in my original post? After pushing in the throttle body cable in the throttle body and heard the click the next day I connected the vtc back and recalibrated it correctly(I am sure 100%) and everything was fine, but later when I was going back home I got a reduced power mode and cel again. Hmm what else do you have to say now? I didn't say anything cus I was already set in sending it back which I did and they have great customer service. For some reason you are still in denial that just because people have problems with the product you have it won't happen to you. And maybe it won't, but I am telling my experience with it and I'm not saying don't get it. To each their own.

If you haven't had any problems with your VTC, great it is a fantastic mod WHEN IT WORKS . Hell, you may never have problems with it. If you get problems with your VTC don't be at all surprised (takes about 6-7 months). If an opinion is expressed here questioning the quality of the VTC,or the issues they have had with it, no one needs to get all butt hurt if they disagree.

perhaps for you 6-7 months but others are sooner after installation.
repairs/replacements have been made to show some are the issue. others have issues that go away after repair/replacement. Yet the vast majority have not reported any issues suggesting the device is mostly not an issue, just a smaller amount are an issue or cause an issue. as long as Vitesse continues to replace with success it is a great mod.

It is a great mod unless you get the "reduced power " on the interstate

getting reduced power at any time sucks. did that actually happen to you because it would be a first I heard. so if it did happen to you detail how it went down. remember just the facts
