Glad everyone likes the pics - I'm sure there will be many more if this appears at the Fest! Yes, there are bowties in the headlight - pretty cool! Looking close at the fender flares they clearly look like you could add them but, but as mentioned they might not look right without the other matching pieces.

I will say IMO the refreshed back end on the SS does not look anywhere near as good as the Z/28. I think due in part to the Z28 having the bumper painted black further up. On the SS it just looks like the diffuser plastic comes up way to high..

I hope somebody makes that aero kit for pre 14 Camaro SS. I want bad.

So, what's the story about this car (Z/28) not being legally sanctioned to race it quite a few categories ??? Can someone please explain ??

or is this just rumor ??

That looks SOOOO much better than any of the other 2014's. The white really looks good with all the black accents. It looks like it wants to eat you.

...my only wish is that it is not out of my price range....with a 2012 ZL1 trade in of course. There is no substitute for RPM's in my book, the ZL1 from the factory lacks the upper band width for my liking. It shuts off way too soon. Just when it starts to get good....pooof...

car looks badass EXCEPT for those ugly "fender well extensions" which to me look like 4x4 fender flare add ons. im all about wider fenders to accomodate giant tires but i think it would look a MILLION times better if they were molded into the body rather than just cheesy cheap "typical gm" add ons that will separate with age and create ugly body gap issues or even possible rusting from the mounting areas. people need to voice this opinion to GM before it goes into production because why cheapen the z28 with ugly add on fender flares? they didnt just throw add ons to the Z06...

Because re-engineering the sheetmetal to incorporate wider fender flares would require too much effort/money for such a low-volume car.

Does anyone know when we can expect to see the first Z28's hit the dealerships or when they will be starting production on them?
