I wouldn't count on that. A good percentage of the Vette buyers would go import. It's kinda like a badge that says "I made it! And I'm not really losing my hair! And I'm not impotent!" I'm KIDDING!!!!

This was in October. In November they upped that number to 365.

Someone who cares about performance more than they care about style. Or someone who likes having a "sleeper".

Good thing they added a third shift to LGR earlier in the year...you know, in anticipation of lower sales volume and idling the plant for several weeks.

I don't think anyone could consider a Focus RS a sleeper though?

I don't know, I don't know anyone who would cross shop a car like that with a Camaro, Mustang or Challenger...

Would you believe when I got my first Gen 5 I was shopping for a Hyundai Genesis coupe? People with no brand loyalty can be all over the place.

You'd be surprised what non-enthusiasts cross shop. For example, back in the late 90s and early 2000s, the Pontiac Grand Am was frequently cross shopped against the Mustang.

Fusion sport is the ford sleeper. I'll test drive one at least.

I don't have any brand loyalty. I will be getting back into a Camaro after two Mustangs, a Corvette before that, and another Camaro before that lol...

That is on target to replace my daily driver next year. I drove on last weekend. I can get it out the door for about $35K from my buddy at the dealer. It's got some nice power, and the traction with all four tires gripping is very good...

I know this can vary by area but ill throw my area out here. I just checked some similar size dealerships, to check their inventory levels of camaro vs inventory of Mustangs. If the camaro was not supposed to be close to/beat mustang in sales you would think there wouldn't be as many of them sitting on the lots right? Seems like my dealers are stocking just as many Camaro's as Mustangs.

Large dealer ( Hawk Chevy) has 45 Camaros in stock, Ford dealer owned by same group(Hawk Ford) has 47 Mustangs.

Local Chevy dealer (Castle Chevy) (which happens to be a huge volume dealer) has 82 Camaros in stock. ( 8 of which are dealer ordered/in transit)

Largest Ford dealer has 51 Mustang's (Golf Mill Ford)

Smaller dealers have 12 Camaros (Bill Kay Chevy) to 5 Mustangs (Willowbrook Ford)

So at least from what I can see in my area, the dealerships are sure stocking them like they expect them to sell like Mustangs.
