Another New Camaro SS

Last Saturday we went to Penske Chevy in Cerritos, CA to try to buy a new Camaro SS. I had an OTD price in mind but the sales staff at Penske barely budged on their price. I'd have thought buying at the end of the month (nearing closing time as well) would net a decent price. No deal, no way. Oh well...

Later that night I was looking at other options and learned Weseloh Chevy in Carlsbad, CA had an SS in Garnet Red with the Kalahari interior on the way. Oh, yes, excellent color combo!

I contacted the internet sales reps at Weseloh telling them what I was looking for and at what final price. First Carmine (but he went on vacation for a few days), and then Curtis went to work and were able to cut me a deal that was just a couple hundred dollars more than I wanted to pay. Close enough, we had a deal.

Drove down to Weseloh this morning and shortly after drove home in...

It's a 2SS many of the desirable options, and i think the color combo is fantastic.

Can't recommend Carmine and Curtis at Weseloh Chevy highly enough, thanks guys!

Congrats on the new purchase! I remember when I was looking at buying my car and I went to Penske in Cerritos and I told them I was looking for a 2ss with the RS package and they told me that the camaros don't come in that setup (2ss w/rs package).. so I turned and walked out.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Thanks for the welcome, never thought I'd buy another factory-new Camaro. The improvements on the 6th Gen were quite impressive and I couldn't resist.

And the fact that I'm too tall for a Vette...
