I think that GM is too busy unveiling the controversial refreshed 2014 Camaro on Live with Kelly and Michael instead of getting this allocation announcement out the door...

My dealer is getting 10 per month. I am #16 so I will be in on the second round.

Congrats, not a very long wait for you then once these things start selling! I'm #6 at a dealer on the peninsula which apparently doesn't move a ton of corvettes, so I'm crossing my fingers on their allocation. I wonder if 10 is a larger or smaller allocation? I don't know whether I'm in the first or second wave (or later) yet because the fleet manager at my dealer had already left for the day by the time the email arrived.

Getting more and more excited. This Spring/Summer is going to be a long wait.

My dealer is Boardwalk which pretty much only deals with Corvettes, so I assume 10 is one of the largest (stress the assume).

Tim at Boardwalk did say anyone reserving with him at this point would take delivery in December.

That's not bad at all. I'll have to see what my dealership says. I'd be willing to wait a little bit if it means I can give the commission to my local dealer. Nice young guy that I bought my wife's terrain from, and I'm hoping to keep establishing the relationship. He's the zero-BS type of guy that I want dealing cars to me. Kind of funny to me to think that we'll be going from both driving German cars to owning only GM vehicles. Never would have thought.

I just talked to my dealer...Hendrick in Atlanta, and they said they got the 4th largest allocation in the country. I am talking with them now. They expect 30 Corvettes the last 2 quarters of this year (although he said it should be in the first shipment of 30 cars the 3rd quarter). I am apprehensive only because they mentioned adjusted market pricing. I need to give $1000 deposit (refundable), then once pricing is issued, I would need to come up with an additional $4,000, which then becomes non refundable. At least I can get my initial $ back until we know if they are doing an ADM.

If I place my order today, I would be #26 in line. I might put the $1,000 down and continue to call dealers....
