Speed Limit Exceeded Message & Chime

Can one of you tech guys tell me how to turn off this message, that tells me that I've exceeded the speed limit? This isn't the same as the warning notice that the driver can set. The annoying message that I speak of apparently is associated with the car being able to determine what the posted speed limit is on a particular road, and lets you know when you have exceeded it. Thanks...

You mention in another thread that you've only had it a week. Perhaps there's an undocumented warning during the break in period?

I'm being careful about what speed I go to, while I break it in. But this message/chime sounds, at normal highway speeds. I'm assuming that you are not experiencing this with your C7?

There is no break in message, do you have nav?

Look in there for the speed limit settings, that's where it cones from

Better yet, read the whole manual cover to cover .....

I'm working my way through the owner's manual.
Yes, I also have the NAV.
Since you folks aren't experiencing this, I'm going to look for a factory setting that needs to be changed.

Thanks

be sure to enter your bank account number so the speeding fines can be immediately debited to the local court!
