Carfax is only good if the repairs are reported to carfax. If a body shop does not report or the owner fixed the damage then there no report on it.
wait ontil carfax finds out that Camaro is giving out reports. Carfax will put a stop to it.

Hence why I said I wouldn't take it as fact since the last report was so long ago. What do you mean they will put a stop to camaro giving out reports? We pay for the reports as well but we pay a lot less per report.

You paid for the report the one you are giving it out to does not pay for it. In another site that I vist carfax told the owners to not allow there members to give them out they would them.
Personally I do not care one way or the other.

Test drive it down to Carmart, Carmax, Car whatever, one of those big used car places, get them to "make you an offer" on buying it, they'll measure the paint to see if it's been repainted, but, I've seen them come back with a car that hadn't been wrecked and say it's wrecked because the paint was inconsistent, so not an exact science.

Well lets say this other site has nothing to do with autos It has subforum on autos. Carfax I guess was reading it saw the poster asking for the report.
They stopped them. If they buy a Camaro and join Camaro5 they may find out. Like I said I do not care.

That is not reliable. The fender could have repainted at the factory and that would cause the paint be inconsistent.

I don't think Caddy is busting your chops, just giving you the benefit of what he's heard....
As he said, he doesnt have any skin in the game one way or the other.

Off X is a big scam. They tell you that there are three incidents to report and then you pay the money and the incidents come back had oil changed.
