You'll get the ten speed for sure.

Nine speed is for passenger cars and CUVs.

Or to put it another way, the 9 speed is for FWD based vehicles while the 10 is for RWD

I hate the tailgate with the recessed names. same with Toyota models. Think they look super cheap. Plain tailgates with simple lettering of emblem look better.

Looks great - watch Chevy's video to get a good look at the vents they've designed into the grille/fender overlap.

Any word on new features? Interior?

Might be for an 'air curtain' to reduce drag at the front wheels.

That's interesting. I just read that the new Wranglers are usings vents in the fender behind the wheel opening for a similar reason. I cant wait to see one of these trucks in person.

Bingo!

It's very....sports-car-ish. I really like this redesign. Much more aggressive in a reserved sort of way...the last trucks looked good - but it seemed like they tried to hard to be "manly". This one doesn't feel as forced.

I think it looks absolutely awful. I will have to reserve judgment till seeing it in person but it looks like the bastard love child of a Silverado and F-150. The front end looks like a total mess to me and the side profile is eh.

That is one of the things I do think they did right, looks better.

I think the current chevy is good looking. This refresh puts it right there with the Nissan as being one of the ugliest trucks being built right now.

If I had to put a ranking on Full Size trucks by appearance.

1. Sierra
2. F-150
3. ram
4 Silverado
5 Tundra
6 Titan

But the 19 Silverado might be uglier than the Titan, to me just looks like a total mess. But again, need to see it in person.

I suppose that I will get used to it. I am not a fan of this new design, especially the front fender contour and grille. I hope it will be successful for Chevy.

Hmmm now you have me thinking on that one. Extra set of lights in there might have been good.

I personally think it looks great!

With that being said, appearance is purely subjective.
