I got back from NCM Motorsports Saturday, what a kick in the ass !
I am amazed at what my Corvette could do, had no clue of the speeds & handling that I was able to run at and feel completely in control around the track. Made one mistake and spun out, but stayed on track and didn't hit anything........ got moved up from the green group to the yellow group on the last day, can't wait to go to another HPDE as soon as I can.........

I'm hooked !!

yeah, no kidding, after 8 driving sessions on the NCM sports track I chewed up some rubber.......but it was worth it. I never tracked my C6, so I don't know how it would perform, but these C7'S are amazing race cars, even a straight stock unit out of the factory, and as a "greenie" I'm sure that I was only scratching the true potential of this awesome machine.

I'll post a PDR video from my track sessions when I figure out how to upload it from the SD.

Sounds good. Post the video when you get a chance. No worries.

yeah, those different instructors also give a lot of varying advice on what line to drive, points to hit, and where to start & brake into turns. You can see that in the videos on several sharp turns where 2 drivers are approaching the turn point at totally different angles of attack. It doesn't show in these videos, but there were a number of very close calls between cars in taking corners under different instructor's instructions.

But no damages, very informative, learned plenty, and great fun !!
