I think it's the design of Jays round table. It looks like a bunch of metal plates that most likely made the noise.

Very European in my eyes. I'm still a little on the fence about styling, being more of a traditionalist-type, however, I can appreciate they didn't want the style to get stale. It's still very CORVETTE and it's full of WIN, IMO

I think its funny when ppeople claim its too euro looking.. remember the first generation Corvette's styling was taken from some well known european sports cars of the same era (Mercedes for one)... So taking styling cues from european sportscars is no new thing for Corvettes.
