yes it is
the way i think this car is being made ... like with better handling and performance stuff it's not only a mustang killer ..you've to consider bmw's merc's
and other imports also ...as they are going to be prey too |

Other imports...Good point I look forward to the Carnage
As for the hawk comparison... very true I never thought of it that way before... Actually, I did read somewhere(reliable source, not hearsay) that the F-22 Raptor was looked at for inspiration while building the Camaro! So the hawk-look isn't far off of what they wanted I suspect. |

f-22 is a piece of junk. lol. they should have went with the yf-23. it out performed the raptor. it just cost more. . .that's the main reason the af went with the 22 it was cheap. got to love the military. . .cutting edge technology dropped for second rate cutting edge technology.

Oh I know there were other inspirations during the building process, I just thought the Raptor was most noteworthy-cause it's not that big a piece of junk! -lol

Take a look at these, there are some similar design characteristics :

That jet is looking sweet...but I see no similarities between the Camaro and Raptor.

take a look at the rear Haunches on the Camaro, you think maybe their shape could have been influenced by the stabilizers on the Raptor, and look at the Camaro's grill, more specifically the plastic around the grill, the angles that the sides are set at sort of mimic the air intakes on the Raptor, no? And overall the squared-off yet streamlined look I think came from this fighter jet.
