Well I figured out today that this motor is loading up too much fuel. Hope these long tubes lean it out

Brett and I will be retuning it in a week or so. Has some throttle blade surging at low rpm slight throttle. Forcing me to stay above 1800rpm in any gear.

Is yours dyno tuned? I hear just dyno tuning can make a car not very streetable. The Guy tuning mine is using hp tuners for a "street tune" then puts it on the dyno.

Mine is "dyno tuned" and I may agree with u there. Not sure how he tunes but its rich at idle. And has backfired a couple times I'm sure from loading up the cylinders too much with fuel. Its only after idle time at a long light or a cold start... has to be an a/f problem. We will figure it out.

Blake, Comp is waiting on single bolt style cam cores. They're hoping to have them this week. Sorry for the delay.

OK Chuck... 1 7/8" went on and I did cats too.. where on my 1 3/4" were without cats. All I have to say is " NOW I REALLY HAVE A CAM SWAP! " It made a "HUGE" difference Alot more noticeable low end torque and a much smoother accel to redline with no flat-line top end power!

Damn, I am glad I did this swap.

I wont have it back to the dyno for a couple weeks.. :-( sorry.. but I will say.. HOLY $HIT!!!!

Im really shocked, honest and true... I spent the $ simply because I wanted to run high flow cats since im going to be in texas so much next month and want to be a legal beagle. And I figured, what would it hurt to upgrade to 1 7/8"..

DAMN IM GLAD, REALLY REALLY GLAD.
