Were to eat in Dallas

I will be going on a road trip with the family 4th of July week and will be staying overnight in Dallas. I want to taste the local cuisine like steak or Mexican or BBQ.

Texas de brazil is a knock off of Fogo De Chao and not all that great for the price. You want TEXAS BBQ go to Lockhart Smokehouse. For steak its Del Frisco's

Campisi's is a Italian restaurant but has amazing steak. Try the Lovers Ln location.

Five sixty is awesome! It's a Wolfgang puck restaurant in "The ball". The restaurants rotated so you'll see the whole Dallas skyline.

Want something more Texas check out the lonesome dove western bistro in Fort Worth. Famous chef Tim Love and great steak!

Have to agree on Rudy's for BBQ. Not sure I would eat Mexican at El Fenix since so many other places around. If you want good BBQ need to head on down to the Stock yards in Fort Worth. Try Cattlemans for Steak and Joe T Garcia for Mexican. The atmostphere at Joe T is fantastic but go early it gets packed early. Patio is great and HUDGE!! Again go EARLY very popular place. Stockyards is near by and great atmosphere Texas Style. Fort Worth is about 30 min from Dallas. Texas Brazil nothing specail just lots of meat to eat and Hudge Salad Bar. Good BBQ I like Southlake at the Feed Store.

Twisted root for burgers!!
