We can't see who voted. Part of the anonymous feature...

New registrations over the past 2-3 days haven't spiked out of the ordinary. In fact, 1-21-18 forum registrations took a slight dip from what's typical.

Both threads are running campaigns for votes; it is more than likely coincidence that a lot of A8 votes were placed in a similar time-frame. I know 2 were put up for M7, because that was at 5 early yesterday.

*Disclaimer, I voted A8* I was also very surprised at the jump, but to be honest, only something like 2.2% of 6th gens are ZL1s, whereas the other 97.8% have A8s or M6s. Zl1 owners are obviously a dedicated car-person group, which is why I think they got the major jump in the first few days, but the masses have A8s (and M6s) so mathematically should win in the end.

Undo and eliminated the Suspension and M7 topic so those folks can have their votes back and jump in on the other two!!...lol...

There is probably just some good lobbying/campaigning going on for certain topics...I think it's good and what this forum is for

It is not uncommon, perhaps for a future poll, to vote for more than one choice....or, don't put up any poll results until the voting is closed...Why waste a vote for the last two at this point?

Not to mention, lol, the top to bottom order of the topics listed almost suggests a popularity from the get-go...lol...The order of the topics could be mixed up every other day or so...lol...If anyplace has a band-wagon effect, it's on Camaro5-6 forums for sure...lol...

All good suggestions...but we're a bit limited in what we can do with the vBulletin software. Poll can be multiple-choice. Anonymous or not. But I don't think we can hide results until the end.

I sent a PM last night to everyone that posted in the A8 shudder thread. Most people that posted there aren’t regularly posting here so I felt it important they know this poll existed

New proposed rule: If a question that's part of a poll gets more than 100 votes, it automatically get added to the "ask" list even if it didn't win (for the following month). The thread that doesn't win, with well over 100 votes, will almost certainly win next month anyway.

Yes. People are obviously passionate about these topics to get this many votes
