Most of the people I see pulled over are suv's, bmw's and the "fuel efficient" vehicles. We drive Camaros, have nothing to prove on the street, so be cool like Fonzi (except for those spirited passes around lamers driving slow in the left lane of a 2-lane highway). Last ticket was in 99 for no seatbelt.

I get pulled over all the time. Probably because I'm a young guy in a nice ass car. A few times it was their way of checking out the ride.

A cop pulled me over and blatantly lied that I was going 51 in a 35. First, I wasn't. 2nd, I saw him coming in the opposite direction from a LONG ways away, and purposely monitored my speed closely, which was 41mph. Of course I was the ass hole for insisting I wasn't speeding, and I got the "are you calling me a liar?" routine.... Yes, I was ticketed and now have to pay $184 to enter this infraction deferral program in order for them to clear the ticket. Do cops always purposely lie on things like this as a source of revenue for their towns? Because I think it's absolutely ridiculous

Are you being serious OP? I dislike cops just as much as the next guy maybe more, but they don't go around picking on someone based on their car.

I bet your insurance is getting crazy expensive.

I caught myself twice now not coming to a full stop at a stop sign with a cop right next to me.
Neither time did I get pulled over.

I noticed the local LEOs follow me a lot more often when driving the Camaro compared to my other vehicles -- as if they're waiting for me to do something illegal. I was never pulled over, though.

It seems like every time I go more than 5 over I get a ticket. Doesn't matter what I'm driving. Was doing good for a while (6 years without getting pulled over) but they caught me going 8 over trying to merge...Ticket :(

Not because i drive a Camaro but if i'm driving stupid in the Camaro. Goes for any other vehicle including my bike.

Consider yourself very lucky, even if I were a billionaire I wouldn't buy my kid a sports car of any type. You would get a large boring SUV at best or a Impala, parents that buy teenagers nice sports cars are IMO not doing anything but giving them an easy way to get hurt or killed, why people do that I have no idea

It sounds like without violating the stop sign, your car still gave them plenty of reasons to pull you over and ticket you. I have had plenty of people argue that they stopped when they clearly didn't. It sounds like it is good for you that your parents are attorneys. You will need their help often.

Dafish. you need to grow up, get rid of the camaro and get a used ford escort. gee wiz. since when are you above the law and think you can get a free pass cause your old man and lady are attorneys. i do not resepct brat kids who are spoiled and think the law applies to everyone else, or dont take responsibility, and parents like yours who think you are above the law and get you out of all these situations. if you were my son, i would repo your car, and let you drive my 77 grand prix with limitations. and it does 0-60 in 4 minutes with a tail wind and downhill!!!

The Camaro speaks for itself, I don't need to go flying around trying to take the point further. There's enough people my age halfassing it down the road trying to look G. A random ticket out of nowhere in 2 years I could buy this being a cop trolling you...

But 8?

Sounds like you need to check your driving/cosmetics son.
