I hate blacked out windows. Anytime I can't make eye contact with a driver, especially as a pedestrian, bad things are likely to happen.

thats why i think its not against the law. plus motorcycle cops cant look in. my bro got busted doing 98 (100+ is automatic jail time here in ca) and the cops sed he would put down my bro was doing 92. anywho he told my bro to roll up his windows and he has limo. BAMMM!!! ticket for that too.

wow i thought CA was bad. maryland is only allowed to have 45% and on trucks and suvs two front cant have any tint.

I'm tinting the windows as dark as possible. Whatever percentage it is (I think it's 33%) usually matches the factory tint on the other windows (like the cargo area on an SUV or the rear cab windows on the pickups). I like that because it matches up with the factory tint, so it looks nice.

The dark tint is such an easy and inexpensive way to keep the heat down in the vehicle during the summer. With the tint and a windshield "cover" you keep the temp almost 10 degrees cooler inside when the car just sits in the parking lot baking.

for me Id start with intake and exhaust. then full suspension, and brakes.
Rims would come next while I think about what engine mods to make, if any!

My thinking has been save enough $$$ to buy the top-of-the-line (TOL) model so I don't have to feel like I need to go through the suspension and brakes. I'm planning on intake and a catback anyways but I figure if I have a great foundation to start with, I won't feel compelled to go through the entire car like I've felt with my '02. Hopefully, we won't be disappointed with the TOL model and even moreso, that it will be affordable.

Most likely these are in order

Cosmetic:
Tint
Ditch that gold bowtie
Stripes (if not factory offered)
Power Coat Black Rims

Performance:
CAI
Plugs / Wires
Headers/Cat back (sound / performance)
Strut Bar / Suspension work (if not factory)
Supercharger
And at some point new breaks depending on whether or not the factory ones are going to be sufficient.

I want to keep a really close to stock look, but something about black w/ sliver stripes and black rims on ANYTHING gets me. You could do that to a rambler wagon and I would drive it. HA!

one quick question that might make me change my mind, are you willing to void warranty with the supercharger??? or will you just take it off when something goes wrong???

but i hear you on the blk with silver. or blk with red. or maybe ill do a gunmetal with blk

Well, Now that more and more things are being said about the engine. I know for a fact if the top of the engine is going to be the LS3 engine, then I'm going to be having some fun with this one. I'll be putting on some long tube headers, Twin turbo the engine, Throw in a better intake by K&N, 4 prong spark plugs, Angel eye all the lights and obviously if this car comes in the Manuel better clutch and shifter. Thats it so far... but I'll be doing this the same month i get the car, if with the ls3
