Congrats!!

No need for you to do a fuse pull as it is only applies for the NPP exhaust and that isn't available on the automatic L99 SS - do not pull any fuses.

The fuse pull is only for the NPP exhaust and keeps the flaps open full time. The L99's are not available with the NPP exhaust system (quad pipes, 2 on each side)....not sure what you are experiencing but should check the manual to see what that fuse you pulled is actually there for. If you have a L99 SS, you don't have the NPP exhaust system.

I think that I'm confusing with what youre talking about and the one for resetting the fuel map table in the computer for better performance after having 87 octane gas in the tank.

Yep, that explains it. I was thinking the fuse pull to keep the flaps open full time on the NPP exhaust.

Nice car. I like the 2010s the best too. Do the fuse pull to reset the fuel map. Pull fuse (fuse #5 & #20) overnight once you get the 93 octane fuel in there for a couple tanks. You may want to add the gauge cluster to the console. It's just my opinion but I would leave it stock. Your car will retain it's value and give you much less problems down the road. You will be surprised at how well your car performs at the 1/8 mile or 1/4 mile since it's an auto. Get a ZL1 if you want a super charged beast

Plan on doing an upgrade myself to a V8 by the end of this year. Maybe a christmas present for me!

Congrats! Doesn't it just feel like a Camaro should now compared to that V6? How about the handling and braking too! The V6 felt like nearly any other car out there to me but with a pretty body. The SS feels just right although it will only be a short time till you want more power out of it

Enjoy

Gauge cluster ordered off Ebay and sitting in my hands as I write this...ha ha ha - ordered the the extension harness as well. Thanks to all for your replies - I've restored Mopars my whole life and always restored them to the buildsheet - bone stock. It will be hard to keep this one bone stock, but it is on my mind. If anything, the cosmetic changes will be easily reversible....the engine mods......not so easy..

You are correct. The handling, braking and every other aspect is real muscle car power - I'm really enjoying it...!
