Guess I did it on Friday and not today but just wrapped up unpacking from a trip so close enough, replaced the old rusted bolts with titanium ones on the wicker bill, was going to do plain grey or black but ended up doing burned blue because I thought it was pretty fun. Also had an issue with bunch of flaking paint under the wicker bill that I hastily patched up with leftover paint and floorboard polyurethane clear.

OK, so I didn't actually physically do anything to the car...But since I am still waiting on my Ported Rod-Mod intake from GPI, I decided to order the ZL1 front bumper conversion kit - The 5th gen version, not the 6th gen version. There are so many people in my area that have upgraded to the 6th gen ZL1 version, and IMO it doesn't look right with the pre-refresh 5th gen cars.

Anyhow, I am also going to order the ZL1 front wheel rock guards, to keep everything nice and tidy matching. Does anyone know if I would be better off also replacing the front wheel wells with the ZL1 parts as well? I know if I keep the SS wheel wells, I will need to drill new holes for the rock guards, and I am just not feeling good about having two sets of holes.

Sorry brother I never saw your post.

I know people make some great power with a turbo (or a Procharger) but I’m old school in that I love and only ever wanted a belt driven supercharger. 900+ wheel should be attainable easy enough with a 416. 427 though. I just wonder how 1200+ wheel would be to drive on the street.

All good bro! Yeah , I’m probably gonna stick with a 2650 for simplicity reason ,I’m sure 1200 whp is manageable on the street with a good tuner , which im sure you’ve got .

These are the seats I threw in on Saturday. Still on the hunt for the matching door panels and dash trim. I may just get some matching vinyl and wrap them if I dont find anything reasonably priced. I also wanna get a matching shift knob and steering wheel. Never ends lol

Yeah it would be going back to Jannetty. He had a 2010 Transformer car that was over 1600 motor that he said you could drive your kids to school in it. That had a Powerglide. I’m leaning 4L80 for that kind of power. TH400 are super strong but the over drive is a super nice addition.
