Camaro 2LT power seat not moving

Hi

I have an issue with my power seat and would like some guidance. I have the power seats on both driver and passenger sides. The passenger works fine. The drivers side suddenly has stopped working, no forward/back, up/down or recline. The heated seat still works. I swapped the circuit breaker (cb26) from drivers to passenger and the passenger still works but driver still not working. I put a test light into the circuit breaker and see power on cb26. I'm assuming it must be a bad ground issue. Or I guess it could be a short and the cb26 is tripping each time I plug it back in. What should I try to do next? Thanks.

check the wiring underneath it may have been cut or the connections loose at the wiring harness connector.

So I feel like such an idiot. I think the problem may have been caused by improper jacking of the car. It was jacked using a floor jack beside the pinch weld where the car jack would go on the drivers front. The fuse box is almost directly above this area and the drivers seat electrical wires probably pass right there up to the fuse box. Anyone know the wire routing? So I think I want to open the kick panel and plastic cover in the door entry to expose the wires coming from the seat back to the fuse box to see if the wires got pinched. It's probably right near the left foot rest. Any tips on how to get access to this area and to the wiring would be greatly appreciated.

So I may not be such an idiot. I took the inside interior covers off the door sill/rail and see the wires run from the seat along inside the car rail up to the fuse box. There does not appear any way that jacking it would have pinched any wire to the drivers power seat. Still I have not found out why the seat will not move up/down, back/forward or recline forward/rear. The seat belt buckle sensor and heated seat work thru the same harness and connector to the seat just fine. When i try any of the seat control lever switches I do not hear any motors try to move. Besides the circuit breaker to the seat, is there any other inline fuse?

How about the switch itself. Gm uses those cheap switches that burn the contacts and because the designers made it so that we have to move the seat everytime we get in and out the switches get three times the work as a normal car.
Combined with the fact that you can't buy a seat motor separately and have to buy the whole lower frame for about $350 you can see why there's plenty of money to be made in parts.

I'd say switch aswell. Try to see if there's any burnt connections. Might get lucky and be able to clean the ends and solve your problem.

Don't know why you have to move the seat every time you get in or out. Mine only gets moved on the rare occasion where someone else drives my car.

I agree the GM switches have always been unreliable, this makes no sense to be a single switch. if no motions work, prolly not a switch. it only makes sense it is the power to the switch or motor(s).

I would agree but it affects two switches. seems no power to either one.

Found this image of the seat wiring harness. Anyone know which connector or wire colors here are going to the switches?

SUCCESS!!!!

I looked under the front side of the seat at the wiring. I pulled on the thickest wire you see in the top of the wiring harness picture. This goes to the switches. The seat is now moving again!!!

Thanks for all the comments and ideas.
