My 5 things would be
the look of the car; the aggressiveness and styling were very good for the years they came out. The hood and the spoiler on the SS just looks plain mean. The power to weight ratio is pretty damn good for the meluscle cars of the years produced. Mine is a little over 3500lbs with a full tank and no weight modifications, pretty damn good with an LS1. The fact that a lot of parts from different current GM cars can be used with little modification is good. The simplicity of the interior. There is a gauge cluster, a radio and an HVAC control . . . no extra shit to distract you while you are driving or take away attention from the car. The looks that it gets to this day make it a blast to drive. A 4th gen hardtop SS is pretty rare so when I drive mine and geta thumbs up, it puts a smile on my face.

1. The looks and style - catfish mouth v. Geo Storm - both look good!
2. The simplicity and ease of working on it. Nothing beats a LS1 3. The performance and handling. (Even though my 5th Gen will smoke it.) 4. It was dirt cheap. 5. T-roof!!!
