3681 LBS
Got my big fat Z down to 3681. All I have done is remove interior and replace seats/ belts with Sparco's. I also added about 70 pounds with a RPM roll bar. Next steps for my goal of 3500. Lose some metal, add some CF, swap battery, start saving for CF wheels!

Looks awesome! With lots of that weight being taken off towards the rear of the car, some weight savings should be focused on the front of the car (tough to do).

A/C car or not? If A/C, you rip all the speakers out? Any chance you can give us a list of what you took out as well as show some more interior pictures? headliner still in?
That right rear weight, even front, looks strange. Rear right is 200lbs less than rear left. Also, car is about 53% front biased, should be 54 with so much rear mass reduced yet the left sides are almost equal. Those corner weights look seriously off. You should ve read them with you in and see if car balances more, left should get heavier but not sure how that reAr right will fix it self.

Headliner is out. But that only weighs 1.5 pounds. I pulled out anything I could in the interior. Thats it. Just getting started. |

When you say corner weights out of factory were off did you habe the numbers on all 4 and it was off by 200 lbs even at 3900lbs? Wow... i am baffled by 1.5lbs headliner but it is a z/28 so maybe it has all the foam and stuff pulled off from get go. Any chance you can weigh all the interior trim, carpet and center console?
