Do it, BUT, do the following first....

Give the GTR Trofeo R tires
Give the Z/28 a head and cam set up

Now that review would be worth seeing!

Absolutely right AV. It takes all kinds!

And as long as it makes you go out to the garage at night and sneak peeks... as long as you always look back over your shoulder when you park it up somewheres... you bought the right car.

I never stopped turning back at the Camaro over six years, and I see myself doing it with the GTR so I doubt that will change. Best part of work is seeing it throughout the day.

I'd really like to see those two throw down.
Interesting comparison. That would be fun to do, if I could get my hands on a GT4. Only problem is, I'm not sure I can fit in a Caymon. I know I cant in a Boxter. But, that is an interesting comparison that no one has thought about doing.

I drove a GTR and there less feedback to it mainly because of the transmission and AWD. Handles great but seriously, I prefer my 1LE for the feedback. Z28 anytime I'd say. Depends what do you like; auto AWD supercar OR an old clutch pedal 7.0L RWD american muscle car. Enough said for me.

Z28 VS GTR is like Floyd Mayweather vs Caitlyn Jenner

Floyd is all Z28 Brutal torque, finesse with quick foot work

Caitlyn is the GTR its an automatic aka chick transmission, its a thoroughbred as a runner, its a big sports car. It is sorta pretty, but deep down its a man.

Main complaint from GTR "fanbois" is that the z/28 has good tires...

Main problem with the Z/28 from several is the lack of power due to its size...

Why not level the playing field a bit by giving the GTR some trofeo R tires and the z/28 a simple bolt on head/cam package. Probably the two most common modifications for each car. Now that would be a battle!!!

The Z/28 still wouldn't be able to out accelerate the GTR or even get close to matching it. It might help the Z/28 to push a little harder exiting a turn with heads and cam but wth trofeos on the GTR, it's absurd grip will just become even more absurd. GTR still wins, unfortunately.

I wouldn't be so sure on that. I good heads/cam setup on an LS7 can push out close to 600 rwhp. GTR comes from factory with 545 crank.

I'm sure GTR can pull out of a corner faster than z/28 but from what I remember, z/28 can brake later and enter turns faster. THe only reason it ever lost was because it couldn't pull out of a corner as fast as the GTR.

Still thinking it would be an awesome comparison!
