What is the negative 12 on the boost gauge? 12inHG? No one says -12psi hahaha. Its called vacuum. Even so 12inHG is low for a healthy car idling. They must have just thrown some numbers on the dash for the heck of it and figured they will deal with it later.

He's saying the scale doesn't go low enough. I don't think he was sayiing it was idling and showing too low vacuum.

Yes and no. Im saying the gauge is not correct or finished for that matter. I guess the mods moved the posts but I responded to your negative psi comment that you have on your boost gauge. You'll have to go to C7 to read it though. Just click the link in the OP.

If it was reading inHg it wouldnt be negative and if it was really negative psi they were showing, it does not equal enough vacuum.

Like I said before, its probably just there for testing purposes but im just curious about it is all.

It's a vacume gauge, that's why it reads negative. This gives it a use on non boosted cars as well.

We know it can read vacuum and thats why it goes below zero. The numbers below zero should not be negative is the point. Vacuum gauges are not negative and they do not read PSI like that gauge. They read vacuum(inHg). More info on the topic if you click the link in the OP.
