GM Educator Discount
Does anyone know the exact amount of the discount? I see that it now applies to the 2016 Camaro and my wife is an educator. Looking to order me a new 2SS Camaro in the next month or two and I am starting to get all of my ducks in a row with respect to incentives and pricing. Any input is appreciated.

I had no idea about an educator discount, looks like I qualify, (staff in higher ed), I hope there's some deals going when I take delivery. Thanks for the info!

I've been a high school teacher for 20 years. I had no idea they were offering educator discounts. Thanks for the information.
How does this discount work? My plan is to go in and offer invoice price on a 2016 2ss with most of the boxes checked. I'm hoping to go back and forth a bit until I can get the car for somewhere between invoice and MSRP. Is the educator discount applied after the dealer and I have settled on a price? This almost sounds too good to be true. Let's say we agree on 47k before tax, title etc... With the discount, will that price become 45.5k??? |
