my car was just built around nov 6 and i am still watiing for the dealer to recieve it. Maybe she will have the new paint> i ordered inferno orange , no stripes i will have white ones painted on.

I don't know what the rest of you see, but I think Dave is talkign about the vertical stripes as you look front to back on the door. Am I correct on that?

I could see that as being an issue.

Not sure why C5 moved this as it's not just about warranty.....there's a whole new paint process in the works and this thread has now gotten harder to find.

Oh well, since we're on the subject I think that the paint is just tossing reflections in unexpected ways, the car looks great from what I can see.

I can't tell with that pic, but it looks like reflection from the house/garage. That and the pic is too far away, take a closer pic from farther down the driveway... with less reflection.
