TPW 10/20 Come on in!
Hey guys! Not to one up on the 10/27 guys but this week is very special to me! haha
I would first like to mention that this is my first corvette and I am very excited! I grew up in Socal with my father which has always been around fast cars. NHRA drag racing as a spectator since i was a little boy. Sprint cars in Perris and local hot rod shows. Cars have always been a large part of my young adult life. I have always been a ford mustang fan. Corvettes never seemed to reach out and speak to me. I remember getting a call from my father, hey son you should see the new corvette it's beautiful he says. But as always i've kinda been "eh.. i'll check it out". Well eventually i did a google and WOW!!! I was instantly blown away at how different this car really is. The exterior is beautiful and the interior is something to write home about! Needless to say, here it is about a year or so later and i've placed my order! Laguna Blue Gray interior, NPP 1LT. That's all it takes to get my blood going! haha. I can't wait!!

I ordered mine from Kerbeck as well. I turned in all my paper work i believe on 9/16. So pretty darn close together. I opted for a courtesy delivery. The museum sounds nice, but just could take so many days off to go out tour and drive home.

I have a TPW of 10/27. I put a deposite down on 9/1 and got my first status 1100 on 9/1. Maybe I will see it in early Nov?

Thank you! Man... How are people sleeping with all this excitement? It keeps getting closer and closer and i find myself staying up later and later thinking about the first time i start her up in Sport mode. lol... I can't for the first drive home.

Becky just gave status update. Seems my order is now in the 3400 status! It's getting closer and closer! Just way too excited.

What an experience!
My Laguna Blue convertible was ordered on August 29. However, the dealer didn't have any allocations until September 18. So I guess the order just sat around for that time. Eventually I got a TPW of 10/20. Now I'm holding my breath that there is not another air bag/brake cable problem. Can't wait!
BTW, yesterday I saw a Daytona Sunset (or is it Sunrise) on the street. Really sweeeeeet! |
