NPP EXHAUST QUESTIONS

Hey i was just wondering if i added NPP dual mode and npp in a box, would it work like the vetts do? I want the flaps open at startup then closed while idling but open under hard throttle just the the z06 automaticlly. its a 2010 ls3. I dont like how the camaro dual mode is open at idle all the time then closes then opens under acceleration, just sounds dumb to me. thank you

Couldn't you just do the wild to mild set up?

i was thinking about the mild2wild but is there a normal mode where it acts like a stock vette exhaust flap system?

For the Camaro NPP you have 2 choices. ADM Exhaust controller with 2 modes, 1 being always closed and the other being factory mode(open @ idle/start-up and at WOT, closed up until around 3K I think). The other option is M2W, which is always open and factory mode. Sadly that is all there is in the market right now. I feel your pain.

This is not true. If the car wasn't equipped with the NPP exhaust from the factory, the mild to wild switch will not work like factory. You will have control of the flaps. Either open or closed with the push of a button.

Sorry I guess 'factory installed' NPP would have been more accurate.

If you just run a vacuum line from the intake to the mufflers when you crank the engine they will be open for a few seconds and then close and will stay closed until you step on the throttle and the manifold vacuum will drop and the mufflers will open as soon as you let off the throttle the mufflers will close!
