Mag Ride Control or Aftermarket Coilovers?

I dont know if I should order the Mag Ride for my C7 Z51. I am planning on taking it to the track a lot and I also want to lower it. Can the mag ride equipped vetes be lowered?

I'm curious why you say this. Everything I have read is that the MRC suspension is fantastic at the track. I'm told it reacts better to cornering forces, allows the car to deal with mid corner bumps and irregularities better and also allows the car to deal with braking better. Plus, it's on Ferrari's

Ok so would I have any problems if I choose the Mag Ride and then wanted to change it for coilovers?

Both Pedders and Pfadt have kits to change the ZL1 suspension for tracking, but the kits do not change the MRS to coilovers. I have looked for posts where a ZL1 owner changed to coilovers and so far have not found a single post indicating that has been done. There are posts where a ZL1 has been lowered but it seems none have involved using lowering coils.

My recommendation is contact Pedders or Pfadt and ask. Since it appears no one has done it, there may be a reason but those are the people who would know.

Coilovers better for track but wont be a smooth ride on the road..
the Z51 Mag suspension pulls over a G.. its no slouch on the track..
