That video is hilarious, Mindz...and brings me right into my very opinionated.......opinion

I can't define ghetto, 'cause what looks terrible on one car tends to benifit another.
But - I can say, that if an a$$hole designed it, then an a$$hole is likely to be driving it, and if that's the case, the car won't last very long, so you can be sure it'll be out of it's misery soon. i.e. the video....

Exclamation Can't wait

As a proud second generation owner, I anxiously await the new Camaro! I have a 1980 Z28 which I have owned for twenty-seven years. It's in perfect shape and looks brand new. I can't wait to buy the Gen-5 but why don't I ever see or hear anything about a Z28 version? Surely there will be a Z28, right?????? Put me down for a red one!

First off, welcome to the site, Zman! We have lots'o speculation about the Z28 and the SS....as to which will be the top dog and what trim they will have. Do a search for Z28 or SS...or which will be top dog and you'll see the pages upon pages of reasons why one should be higher over the other.

As for now, I have to go w/ my gut on what a birdy mentioned...

The Z28 is supposed to be top dog. I hear someone keeps going back to that subject trying to change it, but no one knows who this person is and the designation hasn't been formally said. I was hoping for an SS top model, but think it's going to be the Z28.

I want a Z28, but I won't be able to afford the top Camaro. Therefore, I hope that the SS is #1 in the lineup.

But, I think I'd be happy owning an SS, if that's the case. After all - it IS a camaro, no?

If they can splash "SS" on a Silverado or Cobalt, it kinda' deminishes any uniqueness.

yeah but they called chevelles "ss", impalas "ss", camaro "ss", monte carlo "ss", and all of these ,in the 60's, were the bad ass cars of the days(except for the camaro, if you want to say te z was the top)

There is only one Z/28 in the world and it comes from the camaro that's it, SS is on other models and that's why I hope the Z/28 is the top dog.

IMO It stands to reason that the SS will be the top dog. Here's why;The first year (2010) is said to have two V6s and one V8. I can't imagine GM not offering the Z28 because it is a Camaro staple name. Ok, the SS was around a little while the first few years and then again towards the end of the gen 4,but the Z28 is more widely known. It's always been there. It's only my opinion and I think it makes sense.

But to everyone as a whole, SS is much more recognizable than Z28. Recently most chevy's have had SS as their top performing model, not an alphaneumeric. All that being said, I think that Z28 will be the top model, even though I would rather it to be the base V8 so that I can afford one

Nova SS - Bad ass
Cobalt SS - Supercharger,... on a 1.something litre ?? (lame)
Silverado SS - Truck with balls, not bad
Impala SS - Aside from the new one, was there one back in the day?
Chevelle SS - Just like the Nova, bad ass
Malibu SS - (??WTF??)
Multiple more models SS I'm sure

Z28 --- Wait,... Z28,... oh that's right. There has only ever been one car with that name. I needn't say anymore.

The cobalt was a 2.0L making 205 hp . . . not bad for a little car. Did it deserve SS, probably not.
And the Impalla SS (back in the day) was one of the first Super Sports, had the 409 as an option
Shouldn't a Malibu SS first be called a Chevelle? But to call the new Malibu a Chevelle would be worse than what was done to the GTO
