G.reatest O.f A.ll T.ime?

What is the ' Greatest of All Time' ,in your opinion, as the best muscle car from back in the day, in dealer prep, stock form? My choice would be the highly rumored ,rarely seen 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge with the Ram Air 5 dealer prep option. Basically a COPO Pontiac. Interested if anybody has any info on this mystery beast? Please , no Gen 5's please!
Not nesscessarly the fastest, but the greatest!!

I have compiled a list of the cars that were mentioned as responders favorite muscle car from back in the day. If several cars were mentioned, I counted the one that was listed as their favorite. I did not count my response in responding to posters.

GREATEST OF ALL TIME LIST, by Camaro 5 members
GTO-4
CORVETTE-3
MUSTANG-3
CAMARO-3
GSX-2
OLDS 442-2
HURST OLDS-2
CHEVELLE-2
TRANS AM-1
SUPERBIRD-1
427 COBRA-1
TORINO-1
and one for the heavy hitting cobra mustang 2

Feel free to add to the list if you haven't already posted. I will recompile the numbers if there additional cars posted. Thanks Ken.

When I first started noticing cars, one of my favorites and the first one I really wanted was the GTO, this was replaced a few years later by the Camaro; shortly after I saw my first Corvette (1973 C3) up close and personal ... the Corvette (although a sports car) became my favorite from then on ...

My GTO. I have had it since high school. Bought it second hand with a 100,000 ,miles on it. I paid $1,000.00 for it. That was 1977. It now has about 350,000 miles on it. I rebuilt the engine and transmission three times and the rear end once. It has never been in a garage or in a car show. I beat the hell out of it every time I drive it. 455 cu in, turbo 400, 3.55 posi is a lot of fun.

Infinity Raceway is 15 minutes away.

Corvette always seemed like a unicorn, a fantasy that was unattainable, can't go wrong with that one.

The only thing I could not beat were the Hemi's. They were fast.
