things that annoy you thread

Ok i figured i would make a thread where you can mention things that annoy the crap out of you.

i thought of this going to work. i know many people rant on here about random stuff, so i figured why not make a thread just for it.. now i know we have to watch what we talk about but i think this would be good for almost anything.

i will start. what annoys me are people who drive slow and are always hitting there brakes for no damn reason. i call them brake happy.

I don't like people who are perpetually late for work, meetings, etc. I get highly annoyed of someone pointing their finger in my face. Quick way to leave with a broken finger. I too get aggravated with those people that hit their brakes every 2 minutes for no reason. I also hate someone driving 60 in the passing lane and doesn't bother to et over until you've had enough and go to pass them on the right. Had a mini-van do that to me yesterday and I ended up having to go off on the shoulder to avoid him hitting me. He drove in the passing lane for over two miles keeping pace with the car beside him and when the car got off at the exit he proceeded to stay in the lane. I signaled and got over to pass and when I'm a 1/4 of the way by him he begins to come right over forcing me onto the shoulder.

I also get aggravated at lazy people at work who try to pawn their work off on someone else and then play on their phones or CPU all day.

i have to agree. people who drive slow in the passing lane annoy me. then when you switch lanes to pass them they speed up. also people in the car pool. come on do 70 not 60. its a single lane your holding people up.

I don't care if you're doing 20mph OVER the limit. If there's no one in the right lane GET YOUR ASS OVER. I might want to do 25 over.

Few things annoy me more than people who can not maintain speed on the interstate, either because they just can't figure out how to use cruise control, or because they are to damn distracted by their cell phones to know what's going on. Annoying in three particular situations that we've all seen. I commute 45 miles a day, and at least one of these happens to me every single day (ranks from least to most annoying).

1. Ever been driving on the interstate. You have the cruise set to 70, then have someone pass you doing 75, then slow down to 65, you go buy, they speed back up to 75, they go by and then slow to 65 again, and repeat until you reach you exit 25 miles down the road? (I once had someone do this to me all the way from Madison, Wisconsin to Champaign, Illinois).

2. You're in the right lane, a slow moving car in front of you, and a faster moving car coming up in the left lane fast enough to clear you before you get to the car in front of you. Because you are courteous you wait to chance lanes until they go by, but then that other car gets along side of you and just seems to run out of power, trapping you behind the car in front of you, and at the exact moment you are forced to slow down, the guy in the left lane suddenly takes off again. (I know this has happened to all of you).

3. You are behind someone on a two lane road who apparently gets scared every time you meet a car going the other way, so they slow down 20 miles an hour when that happens. You can't pass him because every time the road is clear of on-coming traffic, they don't just speed up again, but accelerate hard back up to speed. (and until I get my Camaro, the car I'm driving doesn't have enough power.

Right, on all three counts

Here's one more for the truckers out there.....

Coming up on two semi's one doing 62 the other doing 63. Just before you get too close the 63 pulls in front of you and takes the next 5 miles to pass the other semi

As mentioned above..left lane drivers who will not move the heck over. When I am in our trucks, sometimes I want to ram the sh*t out of them. However, I may have found the solution. I think I need to install this in all my vehicles including my Camaro.

+1. That could slide between number 2 and 3 on the annoying scale. It's worse when you hit a hill and it becomes obvious that the 63 has a heavier load and becomes a 61.

Fortunately, this usually doesn't happen to be because the interstate on my commute is 3 lanes.
