I took my Trans AM to see Smokey and the Bandit when it first appeared in the theaters in the 70's. I'm getting old.

Since when is Ft. Collins a small(ish) town? It's like a metropolis compared to my town I love going there. It's the closest city with things to do, only about 2hrs away.

Anyway, back on the subject of the OP's question. I would totally take my car to TF2 but I doubt I'll have it by then. Would have REALLY been nice to have had it to take to Fast and Furious to show all the ricers in town what's up.

I would love to but it looks like I probably will not have my car by then. It would be cool as hell, but maybe dangerous leaving in the lot while watching the movie. People would be all over it.

Hence why I love being on a college campus that has a huge theatere that can be easily converted to a movie theater. They're going to show it, I talked with the movie people in charge.

Here's to hoping that I have a Camaro by then.. ;_;

For all you guys who don't like to go to the theaters try this site, http://movie6.net/ , it is updated with the latest movies pretty often. Some are okay cam versions and other are rips taken from DVDs sent to critics.

Maybe I'm weird. I've been to 2 movies at the theatre in the past 15 yrs.

Matrix 3, and Bourne 3 and I forced myself to go to those. I just couldn't wait any more.
o your weird lol j/k

Yeah... were not big on going to the theatres either, when you have a nice home entertainment system it's just as good at home.
We do however once in a while make it a family night thing, with the oldest son in college it's usually when he's home.
These are the movies I've been to in the past 20 yrs

Titanic..
We are Marshall
Darknight
Gran Torino

Oh yeah, won't be going to Transformers with the Camaro

Oh, yeah! Men and the boy are making a night of it in the new Camaro. We might take my wife if she's good.

I wish there were still some drive ins. Wouldn't that take you back. I think Fla. still has some, but I doubt they will be playing Transformers2...

Agreed. That, and some movies MUST be seen in the theatre to be seen in their 'full glory'. My 50" plasma HDTV w/Blu Ray and Surround Sound is fantastic, but I still prefer my first time with a movie to be on the REALLY Big Screen.

That said, assuming I have mine before then (which I should) I'll be showing up to see it twice in my new car. Once just me and a friend, then a 2nd time when I bring my nephew (I have to see it without kid distractions the first time).

I'm sure he'll enjoy showing up, and probably being the ONLY one to do so, in his very own 'Bumblebee'.
