It's a big decision that you should and probably already have thought about. When I made my decision to pull the trigger, I began to read a lot of reviews on the car, looked at tons of pics and vids, and finally looked at the financial aspect of buying such a beautiful car. I can now honestly say that I made the right decision. . .It's a gorgeous car no matter what color you get or what upgrades you end up picking. . .I have about 800 miles on mine, no problems and a ton of compliments. It's a lot of money (to me it is) to let go of, but I promise you will feel like a kid on Christmas Day when you do get it. . .

I agree Stingray. A lot of these color combo's really make the car look like an exotic. One car that comes to mind is the Ferrari 599.

I'm really energized by all of the positive comments that all of you have provided.
The pictures above are stunning. I ordered the Base suspension because touring is the key for us. I wish the Z51 style wheels would have been available (although the ride would have been firmer with the lower profile tires). Does anyone know of a similar style wheel that I could transfer the Base tires to?

Look at the wheels at TSW.com - they have the exact specs for using the stock tires on many models. I put them on my car but went to the z51 sizing - it is a base car like yours as I also wanted touring suspension:

Many aftermarket choices being released week after week... some off-the-shelf while others customized to fit your wants/budget. Browse different C7 forums (vendor sections) and soon the Corvette magazine as well.

A few are already starting to trickle in our forum here: http://www.corvette7.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=192

I am so happy that everything is going good for you! Do you love your Stingray? Is she everything you dreamed she would be?

I have not seen a C7 PDI sheet but some of the problems I have heard about seem like an incomplete or inadequate pre-delivery inspection. Inadequate PDIs occur much more often than people realize. Should they happen? Of course not. Do they happen? You betcha sweet bippy they do.

That does not mean any C7 PDI has been incomplete. An argument could be made that all are done correctly. And if you believe all are done correctly . . . uh, there is a bridge from one Michigan peninsula to the other that I may be selling! All offers will be given the review each merits.

Too much time watching LAUGH-IN.

And trying to figure out the nuances of retail orders.
