Need Better Splash Guards!!!

I purchased GM's front and rear splash guards and after a little over 500 miles, I have come to the conclusion that they are COMPLETELY WORTHLESS!

The front of the rear quarterpanels looks like a freaking shotgun blast hit them. Even with the factory rock guard. The paint isn't damaged, just the rock guard plastic sheeting.

I'm EXTREMELY careful where I drive and if I see gravel on the roadway, I'll move to the other lane till I pass it.

Is there a company out there that makes better splash guards that stick out a little farther, hang a little lower, and look just as good as the GM ones?

I decided just to go with PPF once
Car is delivered. Seems most logical choice for
Longevity.

Please post a picture of them on your car when you finally get it and a link to their site right away if you can.

Thanks for the help!

Hey Z51Stingray,

After looking at the OEM splashguards I thought they looked to small too. I came across these from Westcoastcorvette. I haven't ordered them yet, so I don't know if they're any better than what you aready have.

The GM aftermarket splash guards don't hang down past the fenders so they offer no better protection than what was originally on the car, which was nothing.

Apsis is supposedly making a wider set.
I had them on my C6, and they were great.
The C7 version has been in prototype since May.
They stick out about 1.5 inches, as compared to the GM ones, which stick out 1 inch.
I will definitely get them if/when available.

Look at apsisusa dot com

I prefer the Apsis ones, because they are fully formed,
rather than just one flat piece of plastic.
